Evansville Otters Catcher Jaime Del Valle

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The Evansville Otters re-signed catcher Jaime Del Valle and infielder/outfielder/pitcher Jeremy Nowak to contract extensions on Thursday.
Del Valle and Nowak were both a part of the 2014 Otters playoff team that made the
A catcher from Cumming, Ga., Del Valle joined the Otters midway through last season. He appeared in nine games for Evansville, recording eight hits and batting .320. Del Valle also scored four runs last summer for the Otters.
Nowak, a native of Cheektowaga, New York, hit .265 last season for Evansville with seven home runs and 45 runs batted in. He also appeared in two games on the mound for the Otters, striking out a pair of batters in just 1.0 inning pitched.
The Otters begin the 2015 season at home on Friday, May 15 when they host the Traverse City Beach Bums in a 6:35 p.m. game at Historic Bosse Field.
This year is the upcoming 100th Anniversary of Bosse Field's first ballgame in 1915. The Otters will have a year-long celebration to commemorate the event with more details to be released at a future date.
