May 29, 2008, Crestwood, IL - Wow. There is something special about this team. The Otters trailed the Thunderbolts 6-0 after four innings, were behind 7-2 heading into the eighth, but scored seven runs in the eighth, the big shot a grand slam off the bat of Chris Crescenzi, to close the deficit to one run. Evansville was able to work five walks in the inning, plating the winning run off 2007 Frontier League MVP Matt Petty who surrendered two runs (one earned) in his two innings of work. The Otters have won their ninth game in a row to start the season and begin the final series of this nine-game road trip tomorrow in Sauget, IL against the Gateway Grizzlies at 7:05.
