Game Notes:

67's in Edmonton/Calgary for World Juniors

The Ottawa 67's will be missing both import players for the next few games with Michal Cajkovsky patrolling the blue line for Slovakia and Petr Mrazek between the pipes for the Czech Republic at the IIHF Under 20 tournament. In his first game last night Mrazek shut out Denmark giving his team the 7-0 victory over Denmark and will more than likely be in net tonight when Canada meets the Czechs. The Ottawa roommates will be the only 67's missing action due to the tournament.

Kingston has local flavour

Kingston has 3 players that come from the Ottawa Area. Derek Froats who has been bitten by the injury bug again hails from Chesterville. Warren Steele from Williamsburg and Alex Gudbranson from Orleans will be on the ice on the Fronts tonight. The name Gudbranson should seem familiar to not only OHL fans but NHL followers as well. Alex's older brother Eric a former Frontenanc himself was the third overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft. Eric who would be eligible for an overage season is down south currently with the Florida Panthers.
