Game Notes:
Teddy Bear Toss Promotion Back Again!
Fans remember to bring a new or gently used teddy bear to toss onto the ice when the 67's score their first goal. The teddy bears will be donated to children in need and provide them some added cheer this holiday season. Let's try and get thousands of bears on the ice this Friday night! If you forget to bring a bear, we'll have a limited number available for purchase at the 67's merchandize kiosk behind Section 16.
Dollar Hot Dogs and Pop on the Menu
Bring a few extra loonies on Friday so you can pick up a $1 dog and 1$ pop. This deal will be available at the concession stands behind sections 1, 11, 21 and 25.
Toffoli and Ceci Invited to Team Canada World Junior Camp
67's winger Tyler Toffoli and defenceman Cody Ceci have been invited to the final tryout camp for Canada's World Junior team. The teammates will join 39 other hopefuls on December 10th at what will be a very competitive camp to take part in some of the most exciting hockey of the year in Calgary and Edmonton.
Ottawa 67's vs. Ottawa 67's
If Toffoli and Ceci earn a spot on Canada's roster they may see some familiar faces on the other side of the redline. Teammates Shane Prince and Michal Cjakovsky are candidates for the American and Slovakian rosters, respectively.
Cardwell Ties Career Mark
Jake Cardwell is off to the best start of his OHL career as he has 18 points (3g, 15a) through the first 26 games of the season. Cardwell had 18 points (4g, 14a) in his first 48 games as a 67 last season.
