
Oshawa Power Hosts Press Conference Thursday

(OSHAWA,ON) The Oshawa Power is excited to announce they will be introducing their two newly acquired players, Canadians Jerome Brown and David Collins at a press conference at the Boston Pizza Whitby North in Whitby, Ontario on Thursday December 8, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. The players will be introduced to the community and media and the public is welcome to attend.
Brown and Collins were recently acquired from the Saint John Mill Rats in a trade on December 6. Brown is an athletic 6'4" Guard and Collins is a 7'0" Centre who will bring size to the Power front court.
"They're both very young players with tremendous potential and will have an opportunity to develop under Coach Strickland and staff," said Gary Durrant, President of Basketball Operations.
With the additions, the Power will now have three Canadians on their roster. Each NBL Canada team must have at least two Canadians on their roster at all times.
The Oshawa Power is proud to partner with Boston Pizza to bring professional basketball to Durham Region and the City of Oshawa.
