
Orlando Pride Waives Forward Abi Kim

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Pride has waived forward Abi Kim, the Club announced today. Kim, 24, was selected by the Pride in the third round (No. 26 overall) at the 2020 NWSL Draft. Over 21 appearances across all competitions, the Cal Berkeley product totaled one goal and two assists.
"Abi has been a valuable part of our team and the locker room over the last two seasons and we are going to miss having her here in Orlando," Pride General Manager Ian Fleming said. "We'd like to thank her for being not only a part of our Club but, more importantly, the Orlando community. We wish her the best of luck in the next step of her career."
Tuesday, Aug. 23 marked the last day for NWSL clubs to waive players and the close of the international transfer window, with the NWSL trade window closing at 6 p.m. ET today, Wednesday, Aug. 24. Each team's 26-player roster will freeze for the remainder of the season on Thursday, Aug. 25.
