Orlando Pride to Begin Preseason Play at North Carolina Courage

With the 2019 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) season on the horizon, the Orlando Pride has announced the first game of its preseason schedule. For the first time, the Pride will be playing an NWSL opponent during the preseason, as the team will travel to face defending champion North Carolina Courage.

Under newly-appointed Head Coach Marc Skinner, the Pride will open preseason play on Saturday, March 23 at the Courage, as the Cary-based side hosts its first-ever Friendship Cup. The two women's sides will host the first of two matches on the day, a 1 p.m. kickoff, before North Carolina FC faces Necaxa of Mexico's Liga MX.

The remainder of the Pride's preseason schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Pride begin their fourth season with preseason camp starting on Monday, March 4 and games beginning the weekend of April 13. Season and group tickets are currently on sale at orlando-pride.com/ticket or by calling (855) ORL-CITY.
