Orlando Pride News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Pride midfielder Taylor Kornieck has been loaned to a club within the Frauen-Bundesliga in Germany's top-flight, with the specific club to be announced in the coming days. Kornieck will join the team immediately, with the loan set to run through the remainder of 2020.
Kornieck was selected third-overall by the Pride at the 2020 NWSL College Draft out of the University of Colorado, the highest draft pick in Club history. However, due to the team's withdrawal from the NWSL Challenge Cup, she has yet to make an appearance for Orlando.
The 21-year-old finished her collegiate career as the Buffaloes' all-time leader in points (102) and assists (24), while becoming the only player in CU history to earn All-America honors twice throughout her tenure. In four years, she tallied 82 appearances, all of which were starts, while netting 39 goals.
