
Orlando Pride Acquires $50,000 in Allocation Money and Expansion Protection from Bay FC

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Pride has traded for $50,000 in Allocation Money and 2024 expansion protection from Bay FC in exchange for the Pride's natural First Round pick (No. 8 overall) in the 2024 NWSL Draft.
Following the trade, the Pride hold five selections in the 2024 NWSL Draft, including the 9th overall from a prior trade with Angel City FC.
Bay FC are set to join the NWSL in 2024 for their inaugural season along with Utah Royals FC. The 2024 NWSL Expansion Draft presented by Ally is set to be held at 7 p.m. ET on Dec. 15, airing nationally on CBS Sports Network.
