
Orlando Predators Quarterback Chris Leak Earns AFL Weekly Honor

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando Predators quarterback Chris Leak has been named the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week by the Arena Football League after his outstanding performance in last week's win against the Cleveland Gladiators.
Leak (6'0, 215, Florida) had his most productive game so far this season with the Predators (3-13), leading the team to a 55-34 victory over the Gladiators. He finished the game completing 30 of 35 passes for 316 yards and eight touchdowns.
Leak will hope to carry the momentum into this week's matchup against the in-state rival and defending ArenaBowl champion Jacksonville Sharks on Saturday, July 14. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. from the Veterans Memorial Arena, and will broadcast live on Brighthouse Sports Network and OrlandoPredators.com/Live.
Orlando's Arena Football League franchise since 1991, the Orlando Predators are currently in their 21st year in the AFL. In that time, the Predators have advanced to the AFL Playoffs a league-leading 19 consecutive seasons and appeared in the Arena Bowl seven times, winning AFL Championships in 1998 and 2000.
