Orlando Predators Announce New 20th Anniversary Logo

ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators are proud to be celebrating 20 Wild Years! in the AFL in 2011! To help commemorate the accomplishment the team asked those that know them best, their fans, to help choose their 20th Anniversary logo. The Predators solicited a multitude of logo designs and after a panel comprised of managing partners, coaches and staff reviewed the designs, the top four were chosen and placed on Facebook for fans to give their final opinions.
After more than a week of voting and fans voicing their opinions on Facebook, the Orlando Predators are proud to unveil their 20th Anniversary logo!
The special 20th Anniversary logo will be displayed on the Orlando Predators player helmets this year and featured in a special line of 20th Anniversary merchandise the team is launching at the beginning of the season. The 20th Anniversary logo will also be featured prominently in the branding at the Predators new home, the Amway Center, and in their upcoming marketing and advertising campaigns.
"We couldn't be happier with our 20th anniversary logo," said Predators Managing Partner, Brett Bouchy. "We wanted to make sure we stayed true to the original Predators 'P' but also give it a modern feel, and of course prominently represent our 20 years in the AFL."
The final logo, designed by TRUE Marketing, showcases a new, sleek and slightly modified version of the iconic Predators 'P.' The colors of the original logo were reversed, with black now featured as the main color, creating a more intimidating and fierce looking logo for the team. The Predators Klaw, wrapping around the 'P,' has also been updated to give it a more lifelike and threatening feel. Finally, the roman numerals boldly signify the 20 Wild Years! the Orlando Predators have been a part of the AFL.
The Orlando Predators 2011 Season opens on the road against the New Orleans Voodoo on Friday, March 18. The Predators first game in their new home at the Amway Center is on Saturday, March 26 against the Utah Blaze.
