January 27, 2011 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Milwaukee Mustangs News Release
Milwaukee, WI - This AFL season Milwaukee, the Mustangs are "Back in Black" with a brash new logo combined with a familiar team name that captures the rich Arena Football heritage that the original Mustangs franchise established from 1994 to 2001.
The logo may have changed, but the excitement on the field hasn't. The Mustangs open the 2011 season with a clash against the Rush at the Bradley Center on March 14. Coach Bob Landsee is back to lead the team, which is now in the East Division of the American Conference. The division includes the Philadelphia Soul, Pittsburgh Power, and Cleveland Gladiators.
One of last season's highlights was the play of quarterback Chris Greisen. The former Sturgeon Bay High School standout was the AFL's most valuable player in 2010, which earned him a call-up to the Dallas Cowboys near the end of the NFL regular season. Greisen will be honored for his MVP performance during a Mustangs home game in 2011.
Ticket prices for the fast-paced action of the 2011 AFL season are extremely affordable. New, lower price levels include $5 tickets for youth 14 and under. Up to three children 14 and under can take in the action if accompanied by an adult in an adjoining seat.
A new Pick 4 season ticket plan lets fans choose any four games on the 2011 schedule, making it easier to get to the Bradley Center. Full season ticket package prices have also been reduced.
The Milwaukee Mustangs-a new look, a new logo, and the same thrilling Arena Football action on the gridiron that Milwaukee fans expect.
