Orlando City B Hosts North Texas in Regular-Season Home Finale

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City B (3-16-4, 13 points) hosts North Texas SC (13-5-5, 44 points) on Friday, September 6 at Montverde Academy in its final home match of the 2019 season. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET with the match available to stream on ESPN+.

The Lions enter Friday's match following a week off from match play. Their last contest came on August 24, where they fell 3-1 at FC Tucson. The home side jumped out to a 3-0 lead with finishes in the 36th, 43rd and 69th minutes respectively, but Leo Simas cut the deficit to two with his first finish of the season in the 76th minute.

Thiago De Souza leads the Lions with five goals this season, while teammate Serginho leads the team with four assists. Goalkeeper Juliano Chade sits at second in League One with 57 saves this season.

North Texas comes into Friday's contest following a 2-0 victory at home over Toronto FC II this past Sunday. After a scoreless first half, North Texas converted from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute followed by another goal in the 83rd to earn all three points on the night.

Texas' Ronald Damus leads League One with 11 goals this season followed by teammate Ricardo Pepi with nine. Arturo Rodriguez holds the league lead in assists with eight in 2019.

Friday's match will serve as the third between the two sides this season and the first at Montverde Academy. North Texas took the first two contests with a 1-0 victory on April 27 and a 4-1 win on May 11.

Following Friday's contest, the Lions will finish out the season with their remaining four matches on the road, first traveling to face Toronto FC II on Friday, September 13 at Ontario Soccer Centre.
