Orangeville A's News Release
A's fans -- thank you for your continued support! We would like to thank you for making our Ladies Night Out game a great success. We hope you can make it out tomorrow (7:00 PM - Friday, April 15th) as the A's are hosting Orangeville Hawks Night in recognition of Orangeville's youth basketball club. The Niagara River Lions will be in town for the Friday night matchup.
The A's have been firing on all cylinders as of late and have won four out of their last five games entering Friday's game against the River Lions. #13 Richard Amardi was named NBLC Co-Player of the Week this week and looks to keep building on that momentum into tomorrow's game. Amardi averaged 23 points per game in Orangeville's back-to-back wins. This is the second time this season an A's player has received this award, the first player to receive the award was #20 Justin Moss for the week of April 3rd.
The A's (12-23) are just two games behind the River Lions (14-21) in the Central Division standings. The last match up between the two teams saw the A's defeat the River Lions by a score of 125-116.
A's fans, our remaining games are very important, your support and energy makes a significant difference. Come on out, catch an exciting game and enjoy the fun-filled atmosphere at the Athlete Institute.
