Maywood Buzz News Release
Orange County, CA. The ABA Orange County Crush professional basketball team official announced today that the team will be playing at the Orange County Fairgrounds beginning in November. According to Eric Benson, Crush Publicity Director and Partner, "We are extremely pleased to call the Fairgrounds our home; the venue is unique and truly considered to be a premiere addition to the ABA. Over 4.3 million visitors come to the Fairgrounds each year and Fairground officials are very excited to have a pro basketball team as a centerpiece attraction."
Benson added, "The Orange County Crush partners and Fairground officials will conduct an official Press Conference on Thursday, September 2nd at 3PM at the Baja Blues Restaurant at the Fairgrounds. We will be naming our head coach, and providing information about team tryout dates, ticket and sponsorship information and a major marketing campaign that will be launched by Fairground's officials in conjunction with the Orange County Crush marketing team. City leaders, all press and media and the general public are certainly welcome to attend."
