Maryland NightHawks News Release

Upper Marlboro, MD – The NightHawks owner Andrew Haines announces the hiring of David Bartolacci as an Assistant Coach. David Bartolacci joins Ed Geth, both as Assistants Coaches to NightHawks Head Coach, "Twiggy" Sanders.

Coach Bartolacci previously coached high school programs in Michigan and Washington DC. In both areas he helped turn around several high school programs, one that included a State Class A Championship in Michigan in 1999. Along with his high school coaching experience, he also served as the Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach at Lehman College in the Bronx, New York. While coaching he found time to extend his knowledge of the game to others working at several prominent summer basketball camps such as the University of Michigan, Georgetown University and the University of Maryland.

"We were impressed with Coach Bartolacci's attitude and dedication. He has a vast knowledge of the game from different areas and at different levels. We think he will mesh well with the players and coaches that will help lead us to a successful season," Haines commented.

The Maryland NightHawks is the new professional Men's Professional Basketball Team in the area.
