
Opening Night Set For October 19

Syracuse, NY (July 10, 2002) - October 19, 2002. Mark that date down.
That's when the Syracuse Crunch will open at home for its ninth American Hockey League season at the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter. An opponent will be announced at a later date.
In addition the Crunch announced four other home dates. Syracuse will play at the War Memorial at Oncenter on October 25, November 29, December 14 and December 21. Times for home games remain the same as last season - (Monday - Thursday, 7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, 5 p.m.)
The AHL's 67th season will open on October 10 and conclude on April 6.
An on sale date for single game tickets for the 2002-03 season will be announced later this summer. Group tickets (15 or more people) for the five announced home games are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office, located on the second floor of the War Memorial at Oncenter.
