Rome, GA â The Rome Braves announced today that the 2005 schedule begins at home on April seventh against the Capital City Bombers. "We're looking forward to putting together another great team and we're working hard to provide exciting action throughout the stadium," says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn. The 2005 schedule features five Wednesday special start times of 1pm, plus crowd favorites like the Blues Brothers Act, Zooperstars, and Birdzerk. The Braves will feature three fireworks shows in 2005 along with a Parrot Head Paradise Night and an appearance by the Mayberry Deputy. Additional promotional and giveaway nights are also being planned.
