
Ontario Warriors sign second player

Ontario, CA. Oliver Binns, GM of the ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced that the Warriors have signed their second player, Justin Lyman, for the upcoming season. Lyman, 24, hails from Houston, TX, the home of Warriors Head Coach Eric Cooper. A 6'6"/200lb shooting guard, he was rediscovered by Coach Cooper this summer in the LA pro summer league. Lyman played two years in the Pac-10 at Washington State where he'll receive his B.A. this December. "Ontario is a great city and I'm looking forward to player and living there," said Lyman.
Binns added, "Judging from the quality of players being signed and announced by other teams, this is going to be a very competitive league with some outstanding talent. Fans will be very impressed with ABA players - and Lyman is an example of the outstanding players they'll see."
All 36 of the Warriors games will be heard on KWRM 13709AM Corona. KWRM will also simulcast all Warriors games on the internet at Ontariowarriors.com. The first game isd November 7th at Fresno with the home opener on November 23rd against Calgary.
