Ontario Warriors sign assistant coaches

Ontario, CA. The ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced the signing of their Assistant Coaches to round out their staff for the 2004-2005 season. Joining Head Coach Eric Cooper will be Brandon Lee and Travon Davis.

Lee, 30, is a former Inland Empire standout at Glendora High. An All CIF and Division II power forward, Lee averaged a double-double his senior year (16ppg and 10 rebounds). He's well traveled beginning at Oxnard JC for a season, leading the conference in socring at 21ppg. He later transferred to Southeast Oklahoma State (the alma mater of Dennis Rodman) where he was named Honorable Mention All-American after averaging 24ppg over a two-year career. He played professionally until two years ago in German averaging 27ppg. "The Warriors organization has done everything to make this team a success and as coaches, that's all you can ask for," said Lee.

Lewis, 29, hails from the nationally renowned Dominguez High School. The Compton native was an All-League performer in high school, Junior College (Cerritos JC) and the NCAA (Humboldt State) where he graduated with a B.A. in Kineseology. "I'm looking forward to the experience and am excited for the start of the season," said Lewis.

All 36 Warrior games will be heard on KWRM 1370AM, Corona. A 5000 watt signal, KWRM will also simulcast all Warriors games on the internet at Ontariowarriors.com. Play begins November 7th at Fresno with their home opener on November 23 vs. Calgary. Or log onto www.abalive.com.
