
Ontario Loses Close Fought Battle with San Diego 4-3

ONTARIO, California - The Ontario Fury held the San Diego Sockers to only 4 goals for the second straight game but once again came up short on offense as the Sockers (7-1) defeated the Fury (2-4) Sunday night at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.
A Sockers goal by former Fury Defender Luis Piffer 4:28 into the fourth quarter snapped a 3-3 tie and proved to be the game winning goal. San Diego's seventh straight win was their tenth in a row over the past three seasons against the Fury, who fell to 0-3 on the road with the loss.
Ontario got two goals from Justin Stinson and one more from MASL leading goal-scorer Franck Tayou.
The Fury continue their current 3-game road trip this upcoming weekend in Mexico with games against Soles de Sonora on Saturday January 11th and the Monterrey Flash on Monday January 13th. Both games will be broadcasted and be seen live on MASL.tv.
The Fury return home to Toyota Arena to face the Monterrey Flash on Thursday January 16th 7pm kickoff. Tickets for the game are available on Ticketmaster.com or by calling the Fury Offices at 909.457.0252.
