Ontario Fury News Release

Welcome to CITIZENS BUSINESS BANK ARENA for today's Professional Arena Soccer League game between a pair of undefeated Pacific Division Rivals, the visiting Las Vegas Legends and host ONTARIO FURY. The Fury are proud to honor Inland Empire - and United States - soccer legend Carlos Bocanegra as part of today's festivities. ABOUT THE FURY LAST GAME: Defeated Sacramento Surge, 9-1 NEXT GAME: at Toros Mexico, 1 p.m. Dec. 1

LAST GAME: The Fury put together a solid, all-around game as they dropped the winless Sacramento Surge, 9-1. Tino Nunez recorded the Fury's first hat trick, and Majell Aterado had two goals and one assist, as Ontario jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead. Sacramento scored its only goal on its first shot of the game to pull to 3-1, but that was all the Surge was able to muster, as they only were credited with six shots on goal in the game (only one in the first half). It was the 28th time in league history - and second time this season - which a team has been held to only one goal. There have been five shutouts in PASL history, with the last happening Nov. 17, 2012.

FURY FIRSTS: Since Ontario is still in the early stages of its first season, records are being set with each passing game. The second game, against Sacramento, was no exception, as the team already bested one record, and added three others: Fastest two goals: 29 seconds (Jeff Bader, 6:56; Majell Aterado, 7:29, 1st period) First hat trick (3 goals): Tino Nunez Fastest goal from start of a period: 10 seconds, Tino Nunez (4th period) Fewest shots on goal allowed: 6

POWER PROBLEMS: During a season ticket holders' Q&A, coach Bernie Lilavois expressed disappointment in his team's power play thus far this season. The Fury are 3-for-9 (33 percent) in their two games. Meanwhile the penalty kill has been successful 50 percent of the time (2-for-4). Out of the four penalties, only one has been for an individual foul, with the other three being six foul violations.

COLLECTIBLE CARDS: Tonight is the second in an eight-game series of collectible Ontario Fury cards, brought to you by Voice Marketing. This week's cards feature Eli Gordley and Israel Sesay. The cards will be given to the first 1,000 fans at each game, with a limited amount available for purchase.

HITTING THE ROAD: Ontario will take its first road trip of the season next week, as the Fury will take on Toros Mexico at Unisantos Park at 1 p.m. ABOUT THE LEGENDS LAST GAME: Defeated Wichita, 14-5, 11/16 at home NEXT GAME: Dec. 7, vs. Sacramento Surge

LAST ACTION: Las Vegas returns to action after more than a week off since dispatching the Central Division's B-52s. Ivan Campos scored five of his eight goals on the season in the game, in which Las Vegas held a 7-1 lead at halftime before cruising to the win. The Legends went 5-for-8 on the power play in the game.

ABOUT THE LEGENDS: This is Las Vegas' second season in the league, finishing the 2012-13 season with a 13-3 record, good for first place in the Southwest Division. The Legends were eliminated in the semifinals by eventual champion San Diego, 6-5 in overtime. The Legends split their home schedule between the Orleans Casino Arena and the Las Vegas Indoor Sports Park.
