Ontario Fury News Release

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, are proud to announce the formation of the FURY FOUNDATION, a nonprofit organization that will allow the Fury to expand on its mission of serving the Inland Empire.

The Fury Foundation's core mission will be to help children through educational, health and soccer based programs. Among the ventures the Fury Foundation will help fund is the Health's A Kick school assembly program, soccer camps, grants for youth programs and scholarships for deserving students in the region.

"Launching the Fury Foundation is the culmination of a year's worth of hard work," said Bernie Lilavois, the president of the Ontario Fury. "Since we first announced the formation of the Fury, a nonprofit group has been part of the plan. And after the success we have had connecting with the Inland Empire, it makes it easier to pursue our mission."

Yvette Walker has been named the Executive Director of the organization. Walker brings years of experience as a member of nonprofit organizations to the Fury Foundation, and looks forward to the challenge of growing the group. Walker previously was the director of marketing for Walker & Mann, the official law firm of the Fury.

"The Fury Foundation is under excellent leadership," LIlavois said. "Yvette is an experienced fundraiser who has numerous contacts in the community."

"I am looking forward to the challenge of growing the Fury Foundation," Walker said. "Using the contacts I've gathered in the region, I have no doubt that we will be successful in our mission of helping the children of the Inland Empire."
