Ontario Fury Announce Season Opening Opponent

ONTARIO, CALIF. - The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevrolet, will open its inaugural Professional Arena Soccer League schedule against the Dallas Sidekicks, it was announced Monday by the league.

The Sidekicks, from the league's Southwest Division, will help kick off the season at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 at Citizens Business Bank Arena. The rest of the Fury's season schedule will be released Wednesday.

"To be able to open our first campaign against a team with the lineage of indoor soccer greatness that the Dallas Sidekicks have is a great challenge for our franchise," said Fury president/coach Bernie Lilavois. "We look forward to the challenge."

Individual tickets for the 2013-14 season will go on sale following the release of the complete schedule. Season tickets, however, are on sale for the Fury's 10-date home schedule, starting at $90 per seat for 10 games. A free parking pass is provided for every two tickets purchased.

Group tickets for each home game are also available, with groups of 10 or more getting a $2 per ticket discount.

Tickets are also on sale for the Fury's inaugural game, a preseason contest against Toros Mexico, a Pacific Division rival based in Tijuana. The Oct. 26 game will start at 7 p.m.

The PASL also announced division alignments for the 2013-14 season. The Fury are placed in the seven-team Pacific Division. The other squad in the Pacific are: Toros Mexico, San Diego Sockers, Las Vegas Legends, Turlock Express, Sacramento Surge and the expansion Bay Area Rosal.

The seven-team Southwest Division includes: Dallas Sidekicks, Monterrey (Mexico) Flash, Rio Grande Valley La Fiera, Wichita B-52's, Texas Strikers, Tulsa Revolution and Rancho Seco Saltillo (Mexico).

The six-team Eastern Division consists of: Harrisburg (Penn.) Heat, Detroit Waza, Cleveland Freeze, Cincinnati Saints, Chicago Mustangs and Illinois Piasa.

The 20-team PASL is in its sixth season and is the highest level of arena soccer in North America.
