O'Neill Earns NAHL Central Star of the Week

St. Cloud, Minn. - The North American Hockey League (NAHL) announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending September 26, 2021. St. Cloud Norsemen forward Ryan O'Neill was awarded Central Division Star of the Week.

O'Neill continued his hot start to the season with another big weekend as the Norsemen posted a weekend home sweep of the Bismarck Bobcats. The native of Roseville, MN, had six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in the two wins to help the Norsemen improve their record to 3-1-0 on the season.
On Friday, had the game-winning goal and an assist in a 5-4 win. On Saturday, he had a power play goal and three assists in an 8-3 win. For the season, O'Neill is tied for the team lead with 8 points in four game played.
"Ryan had a great weekend. He continues to get better, and we rely on his leadership," said Norsemen head coach Corey Millen.
Additionally, forward Logan Kittleson was an honorable mention for star of the week after posting two goals and two assists in the two games. Kittleson is also tied for team scoring lead with 8 points in four games.
St. Cloud is on the road visiting Aberdeen this weekend but returns home to face Austin in a single game on Friday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud.
