The inaugural fundraiser of Goals 4 Kids has made 2022 a very fulfilling year for the youth of New Mexico. The Somos Unidos Foundation launched Goals 4 Kids to help us with our goal of getting a soccer ball into the hands of every child across the state. We've held free community soccer clinics in all four corners and have seen groups of 25 to 130 kids. Regardless of the amount of families who join us, we make sure to send every child home with a soccer ball. The possibilities then become endless once they have their own ball. The phrase "one ball infinite outcomes," has great meaning. With one soccer ball relationships and friendships are made with one pass. Discipline, perseverance, and teamwork are instilled once they choose to join their first soccer team. Goals are set and made. The ethos of Hard-work, Humility, Diligence, and Action that New Mexico United follows are passed on to the youth once we hand them, what could be, their very first soccer ball.

Even if these kids decide to not play soccer, they are recognized and given an opportunity to grow. We encourage them to scuff up their soccer ball, make mistakes, fail, learn, and succeed in whatever they choose to do.

Enterprise Builders have been amazing partners with us on this journey to create positive outcomes for New Mexicans. We have been able to build on a foundation of trust with Enterprise Builders to provide soccer balls for every goal that was scored during New Mexico United's 2022 season. Along with the help of generous pledges from our amazing fans, we will be able to purchase soccer balls for the youth across our state.

Going forward into 2023, we hope to have an even bigger impact with Goals 4 Kids! For anyone who would like to help us get soccer balls into the hands of the children across New Mexico it is never too late. At the beginning of the season the Somos Unidos Foundation accepts pledges of any amount per goal. During our 2022 regular season we scored 49 goals! Pledges are collected on a monthly basis, and fans are notified two days prior to being charged. If you are a part of the black and yellow army this is a great way to be even more excited about goals and be connected to communities across your state!

This is only the beginning of getting the soccer ball rolling across New Mexico. Thank you Enterprise Builders, and thank you to our supporters!
