
Omaha Vipers Forward Carlos "Chile" Farias Named MISL Offensive Player of the Month

(OMAHA) - Vipers forward Carlos Farias recorded 15 points in four games in December as the Vipers went 2-2, including a 9-8 win over the previously undefeated Baltimore Blast. Farias scored six goals in December and leads the MISL with 27 points so far this season. All of his points last month came in the Vipers' two wins: Farias recorded 10 points (one three-point goal, three two-point goals and one assist) in the 17-6 win over the Riot and he added a three-point goal and a two-point goal in the win over the Blast. Farias, one of the first two players signed by the Vipers, was a member of the 2010 MISL Championship Monterrey La RaZa and has been named MISL Player of the Week twice already this season (November 23 and December 13).
The Omaha Vipers are a franchise of the MISL and play all home games at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Next game is on Sunday, January 9th at 7:00pm against the Chicago Riot in Chicago. Game can be seen on live streaming at: http://www.b2livetv.com.
