
Omaha Nighthawks Fan Experience to Feature Local Favorite Rock Band Hi-Fi Hangover

OMAHA, NE - Friday, September 17 - Omaha's premier Rock band, Hi-Fi Hangover, will headline the Nighthawks' Fan Experience before the season opener against the Hartford Colonials on Friday, Sept. 24. The Omaha based group will perform at 4:45 p.m., outside Rosenblatt Stadium as part of a tailgating celebration before the Nighthawks take the field for the first time.
Following Hifi Hangover, three local rappers, Lucky Charm, Whyte Myk and Flocain, will perform their hit song "Omaha Nebraska" to wrap up the pre-game festivities.
Lucky Charm attended Omaha North High School, while Whyte Myk and Flocain are products of Omaha Benson High School. The three started writing music in their early teenage years and are now excited to be affiliated with the Nighthawks.
"I feel like it is going to be a powerhouse," Flocain said of the organization. Whyte Myk said, "It's a good way to put the "O" on the map."
On the night before the first game, the Nighthawks will host a Kickoff Party from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Royal View Hall. The Kickoff Party is open to a limited number of people. Tickets are $15, which covers hamburgers, brats, side dishes, water, soda, and all-you-can-drink beer.
Next Friday's kickoff is set for 7:05 p.m. at Rosenblatt Stadium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to purchase tickets for the game, as sales are going fast. To purchase tickets in advance, call (402) 403-3776.
