Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz travel to Boise, ID, to challenge the Burn on Saturday, June 14th at 8:10 p.m. CST. Both teams are coming off losses and have dropped four of their last five games.
The Burn started 2008 out strong, winning four of five games, but have struggled mid-season. The Yard Dawgz are still fighting their biggest enemy, turnovers, and have a dismal -29 turnover margin this season (last in the league).
The first meeting between the two teams was last April when the Dawgz were defeated in the final seconds of the game (42-48). A completed touchdown pass to WR Al Hunt was ruled incomplete after a Boise fan interfered with the game tying play. The controversy is one the Yard Dawgz have not forgotten and will seek redemption this weekend.
Kickoff is set for 8:10 p.m. CST at Qwest Arena in Boise, ID. All Yard Dawgz games are broadcast live on JOX 930 and at www.jox930.com. Internet broadcasts of all Yard Dawgz games can be viewed by visiting www.af2.com and clicking on the af2/TV link. All Yard Dawgz home games are broadcast live on KSBI-TV/DT.
