
Oklahoma Cavalry To Hold Player Tryouts In Lawton

LAWTON, OKLA.-- The Oklahoma Cavalry professional CBA basketball team will host a player tryout camp in Lawton, Okla. September 22-23 at Rinehart Gymnasium on Ft. Sill located at 2730 Bragg Road, Ft. Sill, Okla.
The tryout camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 22 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 23. Each session will begin at 9 a.m., and all participants must check-in by 8:00 a.m. each day.
"Because we are a new franchise, players that participate in this camp have an excellent opportunity to be a part of our team," said President/General Manager Otis Birdsong.
Registration forms and information regarding the player tryout camp can be obtained at www.okcavs.com.
Interested players can register at the tryout for $125 and must fill out registration and release forms. All registration fees are non-refundable, must be a money-order or cash and must be submitted by the time of the tryouts.
Head Coach Micheal Ray Richardson said the roster is open, and they are looking for smart, talented and team basketball players.
"We would like to see some local talent on our roster for the upcoming season," said Coach Richardson.
