Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry News Release
LAWTON, OKLA.- The Oklahoma Cavalry professional CBA basketball team will kick-off its pre-season with an exhibition game against the Ft. Sill Cannoneers Nov. 10 at Rinehart Gymnasium, 2730 Bragg Road, with tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The game is open to the public and admission is free. This will be the first opportunity for the community to see the team in action before the regular season home-opener Nov. 20 at the Great Plains Coliseum.
Head Coach Michael Ray Richardson said he is looking forward to the game and seeing how his team gels after working through an extensive Veterans Camp that begins Nov. 2.
"Pre-season games are important, because we'll get to see where we are as a team after five days of two-a-days," Coach Richardson said. "We encourage the fans to come out and catch the first glimpse of the great product we'll be putting on the floor this season."
Concessions will be available as well as Cavs tickets and merchandise. Season tickets and the Five-Game Holiday Package are still available for the inaugural season and can be obtained by calling 580-353-CAVS (2287). Individual game tickets can also be purchased by calling Adventure Travel at 580-250-4000.
