Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers will try to even their series at 2-2 against the Las Vegas Aviators when the teams continue their series at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark...The Dodgers lead the PCL East Division by 2.5 games, while the Aviators lead the West Division by 4.0 games.

Last Game: Ryan Noda hit two home runs and a triple, racking up a career-high seven RBI in the Oklahoma City Dodgers' 10-7 win against the Las Vegas Aviators Wednesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. His two-run triple in the first inning gave the Dodgers their first lead of the night at 3-2, his two-run homer in the fifth inning tied the game, 6-6, and his three-run homer in the seventh inning gave the Dodgers a 9-7 lead. Meanwhile, the Dodgers bullpen held Las Vegas to one run over the final 6.1 innings of the back-and-forth game. The Aviators took the first lead of the night with a two-run double by Austin Allen in the first inning. OKC responded with four runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. The Aviators regained the lead in the third inning, scoring four runs. Noda's two-run homer out to right field in the fifth inning knotted the score at 6-6. Las Vegas took the lead again in the seventh inning before Noda's three-run homer to left-center field in the bottom of the seventh inning put OKC in front, 9-7. The Dodgers reached the 10-run mark when Drew Avans scored on a wild pitch in the eighth inning.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Sam Gaviglio (5-3) makes his eighth start of the season tonight...He most recently pitched July 2 in El Paso in a game that was suspended and finished the following day. Gaviglio allowed four runs and seven hits over 4.0 innings leading up to the rain delay. He did not issue a walk, had four strikeouts and did not factor into the decision of OKC's eventual 18-5 defeat...It was his first start since June 11 after his previous two appearances had been out of the bullpen as part of a tandem. Over those two outings (7.1 innings), Gaviglio had allowed one unearned run and two hits with eight strikeouts, retiring 22 of 25 batters faced...Gaviglio signed with LAD as a free agent Jan. 31, 2022 after splitting last year with Triple-A Round Rock and SSG Landers of the KBO in Korea...He made his ML debut May 11, 2017 with the Seattle Mariners at Toronto, striking out the first batter he faced...He was selected by St. Louis in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of Oregon State University...Gaviglio last pitched against Las Vegas May 4, 2017 while with Tacoma. He started and pitched a season-high 7.2 innings, allowing one run and three hits, and earned the win in Tacoma's 8-1 road victory.

Against the Aviators: 2022: 1-2 2021: 4-7 All-time: 53-64 At OKC: 25-31 Oklahoma City and Las Vegas are meeting for their only series against one another during the 2022 season...This marks their first meeting since competing in the Triple-A Final Stretch Sept. 23-27, 2021 in Las Vegas with OKC winning the five-game set, 3-2, despite losing the final two games of the series. It was OKC's first series win against Las Vegas since 2015...The Aviators won the 2021 season series, 7-4, as they won a six-game series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 5-1, in August...Anthony Bemboom had a team-best 12 hits in the 2021 season series while Matt Davidson - currently playing for the Aviators - racked up a team-leading 13 RBI, including four homers...The teams' offenses were almost identical throughout the season series, with OKC edging Las Vegas in hits, 107-106, and the Aviators edging OKC in runs, 66-65. The Aviators hit 17 homers, while the Dodgers hit 14...Since the start of the 2021 season, the road team is 10-4 over the last 14 games between the clubs...Going back to 2018, Las Vegas is 9-2 over the last 11 games at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, and going back to 2016, Las Vegas is 12-4 over the last 16 games in Bricktown.

Beast Node: Ryan Noda went 3-for-4 with a triple, two home runs, three runs scored, a walk and a career-high seven RBI last night as he reached base four times. His seven RBI are the most by an OKC player this season and the most by an OKC player in a single game since Steven Souza Jr. (7 RBI) and Luke Raley (9 RBI) combined for 16 RBI May 30, 2021 in El Paso during a 20-9 win...Noda became the second Dodger in less than a week to record three extra-base hits and 11 total bases in one game, joining Jason Martin's 4-for-4 performance (2 HR, 2B, 1B) July 1 at El Paso. The 11 total bases are Noda's career high and it's his second career game with three extra-base hits, along with a game in which he had two doubles and a triple for Single-A Lansing July 11, 2018 at Burlington...Noda also recorded his team-leading third multi-homer game of the season, and each of his last four homers have come within two multi-homer games (also June 24 vs. Round Rock)...He has hit safely in five straight games (7x18) and in eight of his last 10 games, going 13-for-36 (.361) with two doubles, a triple, two homers, four walks, five runs scored and eight RBI. His current five-game streak is the longest active hitting streak among OKC players and his longest hitting streak since another five-game stretch May 3-7.

Offensive Remarks: The Dodgers' offense scored 10 runs last night, reaching double digits for the 17th time this season. Prior to Wednesday, the Dodgers had been held to five runs or less in four straight games for only the third time this season...The Dodgers scored four runs in the first inning Wednesday for their highest scoring inning since June 19 in Reno when they scored five runs in the first inning...The Dodgers pace all of Triple-A with 390 walks and 29 triples this season, while their 507 runs and .366 OBP are both second among the 30 Triple-A teams. OKC's .457 SLG and .823 OPS are both third.

The Future is Now: Earlier today, Miguel Vargas was named to the annual MLB All-Star Futures Game. This year's contest will take place Saturday, July 16 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and Vargas will be joined by fellow Dodgers prospects pitcher Bobby Miller (Double-A Tulsa) and catcher Diego Cartaya (High-A Great Lakes) on the National League roster...Vargas added to his league-leading totals with a hit and run scored last night, as he leads the PCL with 92 hits and 67 runs scored this season. His 157 total bases are second-most in the PCL, while his 59 RBI are third-most in the league, his 18 doubles are tied for fourth, his 35 extra-base hits are tied for fifth and his 42 walks are sixth...Vargas has hit safely in 16 of his last 18 games, batting .356 (26x73) with three homers, seven doubles, 15 RBI, eight walks and 14 runs scored.

Tomás the Tank: Tomás Telis tied his season high with three hits last night, racking up singles in each of his first three at-bats. He's reached base six times over the last two games, with four hits, a walk and a hit by pitch. The catcher has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 9-for-20 with five walks...For the season, Telis has walked more times than he's struck out (18 BB/15 K) and has a .391 OBP.

Drew Point: Drew Avans picked up a hit and run scored Wednesday as he extended his season-best on-base streak to 21 games. The on-base streak is the longest by an OKC player this season and the team's longest since Gavin Lux reached base in 37 consecutive games June 27-Aug. 15, 2019. It's also for the second-longest active streak in the PCL...Additionally, Avans has hit safely in 17 of his last 21 games, batting .300 (24x80)...He is tied for the league lead with six triples this season...Since May 26 (35 games), Avans is slashing .306/.416/.500 with 38 hits, 29 runs, 21 walks and 17 RBI. He's reached base safely in 35 of his last 36 games.

Clearance at JMart: Jason Martin had Wednesday off, but on Tuesday went 1-for-4 and has now hit safely in eight of his last 10 games (12x38). He has five homers in his last eight games and six homers in his last 10 games, as his 16 home runs lead the Dodgers and are tied for fourth-most in the PCL...Since June 5, Martin is batting .322 (29x90) over 24 games with 24 RBI. Eighteen of his 29 hits have gone for extra bases...For the season, his 37 total extra-base hits pace the Dodgers and are tied for second-most among PCL players. Martin's .592 SLG is third in the league, while his .972 OPS and 55 RBI are fourth-best in the PCL and his 145 total bases are tied for fifth.

RacKs on RacKs on RacKs: The Dodgers pitching staff set a season high with 16 strikeouts last night, and they have now struck out at least 14 batters in three straight games. Prior to Monday, the team had only registered 14 strikeouts just once in a nine-inning game this season and not since April 22 at Sacramento...However, when the Aviators have not struck out this series, they are 34-for-67 (.507).

Hard Times on the Hill: The Dodgers have allowed at least seven runs in six straight games as well as in seven of the last eight games, including four games with at least 11 runs allowed. Even with last night's win, OKC has been outscored, 68-32, over the six-game stretch, including, 57-24 over the last five games...Prior to June 29 in El Paso, the Dodgers had a 4.42 ERA and opponents were batting .240 for the season. And over the nine games leading into June 29, the Dodgers had a 3.38 ERA (30 ER/80.0 IP), holding their opponent three runs or less six times and to six hits or less seven times, with opponents batting .181 (40x221). Since then, the Dodgers have a 10.91 ERA (80 ER/66.0 IP) and opponents have batted .339 (98x289) over the last eight games, swelling their season numbers to a 5.03 ERA and .251 BAA...Following a 6-3 win in El Paso June 28, the team's run differential was +111 for the season. In the eight games since, the Dodgers have been outscored by 42 runs (84-42), whittling down their season run differential to +69...Since play resumed Sunday in El Paso, opponents are 57-for-163 (.350) with 53 runs and 32 walks in 37 total innings (2.41 WHIP), including 28-for-70 (.400) with runners in scoring position...Last night the Aviators scored five of their seven runs with two outs, going 3-for-12 with two walks. Over the last five games, opponents are batting .391 (25x64) with 35 runs when there are two outs.

Around the Horn: Stefen Romero reached base four times Wednesday, going 2-for-3 with a RBI, two walks a season-high three runs scored...The Dodgers are in the midst of a stretch of 15 straight games against West Division foes. OKC is 12-12 against the West Division this season, including 5-7 at home, and the Dodgers are 13-23 at home against West Division opponents over the last two seasons...Last night Garrett Cleavinger pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning and earned his first save since Sept. 3, 2017 with Double-A Reading...Opponents have scored in either the first or second inning in each of the last 13 games. Over the 13-game stretch, the Dodgers have allowed 34 total runs over the first two innings (26 innings). Opponents have scored in the first inning in five of the last six games (14 R) and six of the last eight games (16 R).
