
Oilers Stay North In Revamped CHL

The Central Hockey League is changing from four divisions to strictly a two conference alignment for the 2009-10 regular season. The Tulsa Oilers will be one of seven teams in the Northern Conference while the Southern Conference will have eight teams. The North will consist of the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, Colorado Eagles, Mississippi RiverKings, Missouri Mavericks, Rapid City Rush, the Oilers and Wichita Thunder. The South will feature the Allen Americans, Amarillo Gorillas, Arizona Sundogs, Corpus Christi IceRays, Laredo Bucks, Odessa Jackalopes, Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and Texas Brahmas. For the playoffs, the top five teams in each conference will qualify for postseason play. Season tickets for the Oilers 2009-10 season in the BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
