
Oilers Raise H.O.P.E.

The Tulsa Oilers are raising HOPE in the community.
Oilers player assistant coach Derek Eastman will be greeting diners at Baxter's Interurban Grill at 717 South Houston to benefit H.O.P.E. (Health Outreach Prevention & Education) from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday April 29th. Baxter's will donate a portion of the proceeds from that evening to H.O.P.E.
"It's good to get involved in a lot of community causes," Eastman said. "And this is something that a lot of restaurants are doing so I hope the Oiler fans will come out and support Baxter's"
The Dining Out for Life involves are celebrities at numerous Tulsa restaurants with the restaurants making a donation to H.O.P.E. diners who come to Baxter's to meet Eastman will also have a chance to visit with volunteers from H.O.P.E. to get further information about H.O.P.E. and volunteer opportunities.
The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 32 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season.
Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
