BOK At Last: The Tulsa Oilers have their home opener, and the first hockey game ever in the BOK Center Saturday night when they host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:35 p.m. It is the Oilers' only game this week.

For Openers: The Oilers went 0-1-1 last week, losing a shootout to Oklahoma City 3-2 on Friday night, and running into severe penalty trouble on Saturday in a 12-3 loss at Corpus Christi.

First Strike: Jason Lawmaster scored the Oilers first goal of the season, in the first period at Oklahoma City. Brendon Hodge and Jeff Christian assisted on the power play goal.

Special Stuff: The Oilers have scored four power play goals and one shorthanded goal in their two games this season. In the two games so far this season, there have 19 goals scored (not including the shootout goal by Oklahoma City). Of those goals, 13 have been power play goals and two were shorthanded goals. That is 15 of the 19 goals scored on special teams.

Hot Start: Center Brendon Hodge is off to red hot start with four points in the first two games. He had a power play goal and an assist in each game this weekend.

Captain Sails: Team captain Jeff Christian also enjoyed a four point weekend with a goal and three assists. He also had a goal in overtime disallowed Friday night for inadvertent goaltender interference.

Big Crowd: A record crowd is expected on Saturday night when the Oilers host Oklahoma City at the BOK Center. The Oilers capacity in the Tulsa Convention Center was 7,111 and they expect to eclipse that mark.

Listen Up: For the first time in several seasons, the Oilers are broadcasting home games via the internet. Fans can log on to www.tulsaoilers.com to listen to Saturday's game.
