Tulsa Oilers News Release
TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League announced a schedule change on Tuesday that will move the date of a January contest against the Quad City Mallards.
Instead of visiting Quad City on Saturday, January 18 as originally scheduled, the Oilers will travel to the Mallards on Friday, January 31. The change was agreed upon by both clubs and approved by the CHL. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. at the i wireless Center.
The absence of a road game on January 18 creates a season-long five-game home stand for the Oilers from January 10 to January 24.
The January 31 contest is the second of only two trips the Oilers will make to Quad City for the entire 2013-14 regular season. The first occurs on Saturday, November 30. The Oilers clash with the Mallards a total of four times, fewer than any other CHL opponent.
The Oilers 2013-14 home opener is slated for Saturday, October 26 at 7:35 p.m. against the Allen Americans. For tickets, call 918-632-7825 or log on to www.tulsaoilers.com.
