Arizona Signs Veteran Forward Galbraith

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Arizona Sundogs announced today they signed veteran forward, Jade Galbraith for their upcoming Central Hockey League 2013-14 season.

Galbraith 31, returns to the United States after having spent the past seven seasons in Europe. From 2011-13 he skated for Braehead Clan in the United Kingdom (EIHL) where he tallied 56 goals, 88 assists for 144 points in 103 games. He also earned EIHL Most Assists three out of his five seasons in the league. From 2008-11 the 5-foot-11, right winger played for the Nottingham Panthers and collected 74 goals, 181 assists for 255 points in 175 games.

The Alberta native spent two seasons skating in Germany and posted 62 goals, 78 assists for 140 points in 96 games.

From 2002-06 he played in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, Florence Pride, Dayton Bombers, Cincinnati Cyclones, Pensacola Ice Pilots, Louisiana IceGators, San Diego Gulls and the Victoria Salmon Kings. While in the ECHL he laced up for 267 games and tallied 83 goals, 152 assists for 235 points. During his rookie campaign he also helped his team to the playoffs where they eventually won the Kelly Cup Championship while playing for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies.

Prior to turning pro in 2002, he played junior hockey and posted 61 goals, 99 assists for 160 points in 152 games.
