
Ohnsted Named MIAC All-Conference

Former Aberdeen Wings forward Mack Ohnsted not only melted the ice at the Odde Ice Center, but after moving on to collegiate hockey has been named to the MIAC All-Conference Team.
Ohnsted, a sophomore at Augsburg College, receives the honor after an impressive season tallying 6 goals and 19 assists. He was ranked 2nd this season in assists and tied for 6th in total points. Augsburg however loss to St. Olaf 5-4 in overtime which ended their playoff hunt. Ohnsted scored a goal in that game. A chemical engineering major, Ohnsted has been on the Dean's list academically each semester at Augsburg. Last season he put up 2 goals and 8 assists.
While with the Aberdeen Wings, Ohnsted had great numbers. After a 13 point rookie season, he proceeded to record 6 goals and 34 assists his next season. His 47 assists ranks him tied for 3rd on the Wings all-time roster with current forward #24 Jonathan Grebosky (F-Pittsburgh, PA).
