"In addition to their hockey commitments, our players work very hard to be successful in the classroom as well," said Joe Birch, the OHL's Director of Recruitment and Education Services. "We are very proud of these high success rates as it shows that our teams are continuing to put a great deal of importance on a player's commitment to school. This helps make a very smooth transition for the hundreds of players that graduate from our league and accept OHL scholarships to continue their hockey and academic careers in Canadian universities.

195 OHL graduates are currently playing Canadian University hockey on scholarships from their OHL clubs.
