Ohio Goalie Corson Cramer records 35 saves
COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio Junior Blue Jackets lost 4-0 to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Sunday at Nationwide Arena.
Ohio (10-37-7, 27 pts.) kept it close early, finishing the first period down 1-0 after Tyler Thompson scored for Cedar Rapids (33-15-4, 70 pts.).
Junior Blue Jackets goalie Corson Cramer recorded 18 saves in the second period, allowing one goal to Cedar Rapids forward Ian Slater. Cramer finished the game with 35 saves, his ninth straight game with 30 saves or more.
In the third period, Dan Dries and Brett Dickinson added two more for Cedar Rapids, to complete the scoring for the game. Cedar Rapids goalie Richard Bachman turned away 33 shots to earn the shutout victory for the visitors.
The Junior Blue Jackets play a home-and-home series next weekend with the Chicago Steel. Ohio is at Chicago on Friday night for an 8:30 p.m. (ET) puck drop and then return home to Nationwide Arena on Saturday, Mar. 31. Game time for Saturday is set for 7 p.m.
