
Ogunbowale Drops 29, Sets Franchise Record in Loss to Dream

Rookie of the Year candidate Arike Ogunbowale set the franchise record for 20-point games with her thirteenth 20-point game of the season in the Dallas Wings (9-20) 77-73 loss to the Atlanta Dream (7-22). Contributing 29 in the effort, Ogunbowale has netted six consecutive 20-point games, tying Alana Beard, Cappie Pondexter and Odyssey Sims for the most consecutive 20-point game streak as a rookie in WNBA history. Twenty of the Notre Dame product's points came in the second half, 12 of which came in the closing period.
Isabelle Harrison collected 12 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season, both coming in the previous three contests. It's the seventh double-double of her career and the twelfth time the Tennessee product has scored 10 or more this season. Kristine Anigwe, playing at College Park Center for the first time as a member of the Wings, pulled down a career-high nine boards and scored four points in 17 minutes played. Kayla Thornton and Allisha Gray both logged nine points apiece, respectively, while Kaela Davis had six points in her eleventh start of the season and Glory Johnson added four points.
The Wings travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Sky on Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed on WNBA League Pass.
