Oduro Delivers on and off the Field

When Powell resident Forrest Bode ordered a Papa John's pizza Friday afternoon, he wasn't expecting Crew forward Dominic Oduro to show up at his doorstep flashing his trademark smile with his pizza in hand. A friend of Black & Gold Homegrown Players Wil Trapp and Aaron Horton, Bode was blown away to find the Crew's leading scorer waiting at his front door.
To celebrate the opening of the new Papa John's location in Powell, Oduro delivered his favorite meal to one lucky fan (Bode) during Friday's lunch hours after signing autographs and enjoying pizza with Crew Brand Ambassador Frankie Hejduk, Crew Cat and Columbus Blue Jackets mascot Stinger.
The day wasn't over for Oduro after the special delivery, however. The speedy forward channeled his inner Brad Pitt while filming a commercial for Papa John's for the rest of the afternoon.
Expect the commercial to air in the Columbus market in the coming weeks.
