Odessa to Face Allen in Conference Semifinals
ODESSA, TX - With Mississippi losing to Tulsa on Saturday, the Odessa Jackalopes now know who their opponent will be in the next round of the Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Playoffs. A playoff rematch from last season has been set as the Jacks will square off against the top-seeded Allen Americans in the Conference Semifinal round.
Last season, the Americans eliminated a top-seeded Jackalopes team in seven games in the Conference Final round before falling to Rapid City for the Presidents' Cup.
Allen is the reigning Governor's Cup Champion after finishing with the best regular season record of 47-16-3.
The Jackalopes advanced to the Conference Semifinal round after dispatching Texas in four games. Allen swept the Bees in their first round series.
Game one in the best-of-five series is scheduled for Thursday, April 14th at 7:00 PM CST and game two on Sunday, April 17th at 6:00 PM CST. Both games will be in Allen. The series shifts to Odessa for games three and four on Tuesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 21st at 7:05 PM CST. If needed, a deciding game five will be played back in Allen at a date to be determined.
