Berry Conference Semi Finals Set; Schedule Announced

TEMPE, AZ - The Berry Conference Semi Finals match-ups have been determined as the Tulsa Oilers became the fourth team to advance in the Berry Conference and the eighth team in the CHL to make it to the best-of-5 semi finals thanks to their5-2 win in Game Five of their Opening Round series against the Mississippi RiverKings on Saturday night. The Oilers join the Allen Americans, Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs and the Odessa Jackalopes who all advanced earlier this week.
The Americans, the Bud Poile Governors' Cup winners as CHL point's champion, made quick work of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees sweeping their way into the semi finals last Sunday. For the second straight season, the Americans will play the Odessa Jackalopes in a series. Last year, the Americans beat the Jacks in the Southern Conference Finals in an exciting seven-game series. Allen went 5-2 against the Jackalopes during the 2010-11 regular season.
The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs were impressive winning Game's Three and Four in Arizona taking their series against the Sundogs in four games. They will face the Tulsa Oilers who are coming off their first post-season series win since the 1984 season. The teams met just three times during the regular season with the Mudbugs winning three of those games.
The Berry Conference Semi Finals will get underway on Thursday, April 14 when Allen hosts Odessa in Game One of their series.
