
Odessa and Allen Meet in South Finals

(Tempe, Arizona) - The participants in the Southern Conference Finals have been determined as the Odessa Jackalopes will take on the Allen Americans in the quest for the CHL Ray Miron Presidents' Cup. The best-of-7 series begins on Friday, April 9 in Odessa at the Ector County Coliseum.
The Jackalopes qualified for the conference finals on Monday night when they completed their best-of-7 series win over the Texas Brahmas winning four games to two. Odessa moves on to the conference finals for the second consecutive season and are the reigning Bud Poile Governors' Cup Champions with 101 regular season points.
The Americans will play in the conference finals in their first season as a franchise after beating the Laredo Bucks in seven games in the conference semifinals. Allen finished in second place in the Southern Conference during the regular season with 89 points.
The Jacks won the season series taking three of the four games going 2-1 on home ice. Odessa outscored Allen 15-8 during their four regular season meetings.
The winner of the Odessa/Allen series will face the winner of the Rapid City/Bossier-Shreveport Northern Conference Finals series.
