Oakland Roots Sports Club announces a new Partnership with Cream Co. Meats to be the Official Hot Dog of Oakland Roots SC. As part of the partnership, all 'Fam Four Packs' will include Cream Co. hot dogs and be included in the Half-Time Hot Dog Toss Presented by Cream Co. Meats.
"Hot Dogs are a big part of not only the sports culture, but specifically Oakland Roots Gameday culture," said Oakland Roots SC Chief Revenue Officer Steven Powell. "We are thrilled to partner with a local food supplier in Cream Co. Meats as the Official Hot Dog of Oakland Roots SC."
To celebrate the 2023 return of the Half-Time Hot Dog Toss Presented by Cream Co., local hot dog vending legend, Hal the Hot Dog Guy, will be joining Oakland Roots SC to toss hot dogs to fans during half-time at the Home Opener on March 25th.
"As an Oakland-based business, we are incredibly excited to partner with our hometown team to show that game day food can be restaurant quality," said Cream Co. founder Cliff Pollard. "We hope Oakland fans will take pride in a sustainably sourced hot dog made with 100% West Coast pasture raised beef."
Cream Co. is an all-natural whole animal butcher based in East Oakland. Their mission is to revolutionize a highly commoditized industry by creating new opportunities for people to enjoy animal proteins responsibly.
