
Oakland Roots Sports Club Announces the Transfer of Ethan Kohler to Bundesliga Side SV Werder Bremen

Oakland, CA - Oakland Roots SC have agreed with German Bundesliga Club Werder Bremen to the transfer of Ethan Kohler.
"We are excited to be able to help a young player take the next steps in his career," said Oakland Roots SC Technical Director Jordan Ferrell. "Ethan joined the club with the ambition to make the jump across the Atlantic. We are thrilled to be able to help a local Bay Area player reach that next level."
Kohler joined Oakland Roots ahead of the USL Championship season. The defensive midfielder made one appearance for Oakland in a start in the U.S. Open Cup against El Farolito.
