Oakland Roots Latest: Oakland Roots are coming off a loss to League One side Greenville Triumph in the US Open Cup last Thursday. Oakland got the weekend off to regroup and are now set to face San Diego Loyal for the first time in the 2022 season. In 2021 the two California sides faced off on four occasions with Roots picking up two wins and one draw in those four meetings.
