PLYMOUTH, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program enters the weekend with a 48-29-5-3 (W-L-OTL-SOL) record across all competitions.

U.S. National Under-17 Team

The Muskegon Lumberjacks enter its fourth matchup with the U.S. National Under-17 Team with a 7:00 p.m. ET game at USA Hockey Arena on Friday (Feb. 22). The last time the Lumberjacks faced off against Team USA was on Jan. 26, when the U18s took home a 4-1 victory at L.C. Walker Arena.

Last Time Out

The U.S. National Under-17 Team split its two-game weekend against the Youngstown Phantoms. In Friday's loss, (Feb. 15) Eamon Powell (Marcellus, N.Y.), Thomas Bordeleau (Houston, Texas) and Hunter McKown (San Jose, Calif.) scored for Team USA.

The U17s took home a 4-3 victory the next day, with goals from Bordeleau, Matthew Beniers (Hingham, Mass.), Chase Yoder (Fairview, Texas) and Brock Faber (Maple Grove, Minn.). Faber's goal was not only the game winner, but it also marked his first goal of his career with the NTDP. Drew Commesso (Norwell, Mass.) made 24 saves in the win.

U.S. National Under-18 Team

The U.S. National Under-18 Team takes a weekend off before traveling to Central Illinois for a road matchup on Wednesday (Feb. 27).

Last Time Out

The U.S. National Under-18 Team recorded two USHL victories last weekend.

In the 4-1 win vs. the Sioux Falls Stampede at USA Hockey Arena on Friday Feb. 15, Owen Lindmark (Naperville, Ill.), Matthew Boldy (Millis, Mass.), Patrick Moynihan (Millis, Mass.) and Alex Turcotte (Island Lake, Ill.) tallied goals, while Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.) delivered 29 saves to secure the victory.

In the 7-2 win vs. the Chicago Steel at Fox Valley Ice Arena on Saturday Feb. 16, 12 different skaters found the scoresheet. Turcotte recorded a four-point night to lead, while John Beecher (Elmira, N.Y.), Michael Gildon (Plano, Texas) and Boldy added two points apiece. Additionally, Cole Caufield (Stevens Point, Wis.), Judd Caulfield (Grand Forks, N.D.), and Domenick Fensore (Thornwood, N.Y.) recorded one goal each and Cameron Rowe (Wilmette, Ill.) stopped 22 of 24 shots.

ABOUT THE NTDP: USA Hockey's National Team Development Program is in its 22nd season of competition and is based at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The goal of the full-time development program is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers. Its efforts focus not only on high-caliber participation on the ice but creating well-rounded individuals off the ice.
