Minnesota United FC News Release
BLAINE, Minn. (July 22, 2010) - The NSC Minnesota Stars announced the inaugural "Pro for a Day" adult Fantasy Camp to be held Sunday, Aug. 15.
Fantasy Camp is designed for players age 18 and older who wish to experience a day in the life of an NSC Minnesota Stars player. The camp will feature a training session with the Stars coaching staff, a locker room tour, lunch, a "chalk-talk" session, and a full game-day experience.
After a morning training session, campers will split into teams for a game inside NSC Stadium. The game will mimic a Stars home game, complete with pre-game coaching talks, player introductions, official customized Stars jerseys, and the chance to play alongside current Stars players. Following the game, the Stars will host a BBQ in the beer garden at NSC Stadium for the campers.
The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to both men and women ages 18 and older of all ability levels. Registration for Fantasy Camp costs $175 and is limited to 30 people. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, Aug. 11. For more information, contact Angie Blaker at ablaker@nscminnesota.org or (763) 792-7348.
